Biography

Dionne Pohler is an Assistant Professor at the Edwards School of Business.  She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Human Resources & Industrial Relations at the University of Alberta. Dionne has published in top journals in her field, including Industrial Relations (Berkeley) and Human Resource Management. During her PhD program at the University of Alberta, Dionne was the recipient of numerous prestigious research fellowships, including a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Fellowship, as well as an Honorary Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Doctoral Fellowship and the Andrew Stewart Prize for Research Distinction in the Doctoral Program. Dionne's research interests center around unions as a source of competitive advantage, management response to unions, and strategic human resource management.
